Our priority is to offer high-quality education in the field of natural medicine that is relevant, affordable, and biblically approved. Our objective is to provide our students with academic opportunities and accomplishments through the programs we provide.
Nondiscrimination Policy

Confidentiality
A student is defined as any individual who has completed an IIOM Admission Form and been accepted for admission. Each student has the right to inspect and/or review his/her educational records such as official transcripts, courses and grades, records of prior learning and life/work experience, and admissions records. All student records are held in strict confidence. IIOM is aware of the confidential nature of students’ records, both personal and academic; therefore, IIOM exercises extreme care and concern in recording and maintaining information. Such information will not be released to unauthorized persons, agencies, mailing lists, or for advertising purposes without written consent from the student.
Prior Study Credits
IIOM will honor credits, formal and informal, for relevant professional experiences, life experiences and disciplined personal study programs with documented proof and/or a signed statement. This information will be reviewed by our academic committee. We believe that this is consistent with a fair and balanced approach to meeting the requirements of all our valued students, as well as, the requirements of the institution.
All data concerning credits should be sent to us for evaluation. Please send copies only as they will become part of the student file. A letter should be submitted documenting any personal or professional experiences, and showing dates and time spans. Seminars, short courses, and one-day programs may be listed if they apply and are credit worthy. We will assign credits to these under our system of credit rating.
If the prior credits earned are not sufficient for the particular certification requirement, we may be able to suggest other courses to make up the deficiency. The required credits for each program offering, are noted in the certification and degreed courses section of this catalog.
Coursework and Training
All courses are divided into topics to be covered for the completion of each certification and/or degreed program. Testing is provided at the end of each course. We encourage further study that expands your knowledge and focus on critical topics. The course material and exams are designed to help you to learn effectively and at your optimum pace. Where appropriate, projects and assignments will be recommended to help students reach their personal and professional goals with the courses taken. Our objective is to ensure that you have an informative and productive learning experience.
